# Fees

If you're using Loan Shifter to simply move your position from one protocol to another, there are no fees associated with the tool as long as the collateral and debt assets remain the same.

However, if your transaction includes the swapping of collateral or debt - service fees are included. In these cases, slippage can also affect the final price you get for your loan shift.

The service fees are:<br>

* 0.01% fee on stablecoins swaps (e.g. USDC --> DAI)
* 0.10% fee on swaps between assets correlated in price (e.g. ETH --> wstETH)
* 0.25% fee on swaps between assets that are not correlated in price (e.g. WBTC --> USDT)

{% hint style="info" %}
*This tool utilizes flash loans. DeFi Saver automatically defaults to using a flash loan source that's free first, and if those don't have sufficient liquidity, opts for Aave, which has as 0.09% fee from the protocol itself.*
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.defisaver.com/features/loan-shifter/fees.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
