# Polymarket Automation Orders

Polymarket orders let you use changes in a Polymarket market’s odds as a trigger for a Hyperliquid trade.

For example, you can configure an order to open a long position on ETH if the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting rates by 25 basis points increases by 10 percentage points. If the selected Polymarket condition is met, a market order is submitted on Hyperliquid in the direction and size you selected.

This lets you turn changes in prediction-market odds into orders without having to monitor the Polymarket market manually.

{% hint style="info" %}
*Polymarket is used only as the trigger source. The resulting trade is executed on Hyperliquid; the automation does not buy or sell Polymarket shares.*

Open the **Hyperliquid** dashboard in DeFi Saver and select the market you want to trade.\
\
Then, open the **Order types** menu and select **Polymarket:**

Choose **Buy / Long** or **Sell / Short**. This determines the direction of the Hyperliquid order that will be submitted when the trigger is met.

Select the Polymarket market that will act as the trigger. You can search available markets and sort them by 24-hour volume, liquidity, or end date:

<figure><img src="https://2276946674-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fo1t7pGS5d15WeQzoQ3Fe%2Fuploads%2FXhyjVOTQgEBPAM2honv7%2FScreenshot%202026-09-10%20124222.png?alt=media&amp;token=66b53870-65f4-42ec-b286-839f7a0a7a84" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Select the relevant outcome, such as **Yes,** after which you'll choose one of the two trigger types:

* **Probability** triggers when the selected outcome’s probability crosses a specified level.
* **Spike** triggers when the probability moves by the specified number of percentage points

Enter the size of the Hyperliquid order, and ptionally configure a **Max price**, **Take profit / Stop loss**, or **Reduce only**.

Review the trigger summary, required margin, and fee, then submit the order.

</details>

### Probability trigger

The **Probability** option lets you set an absolute probability threshold for the selected Polymarket outcome.

For example, if **Yes** is currently priced at 40% and you set the trigger at 50%, the Hyperliquid order will be submitted when the probability of **Yes** crosses above 50%.

The order panel displays a plain-language summary of the condition before you submit it. Always check this summary to confirm whether the trigger is watching for the probability to move above or below your chosen threshold.

The percentage shown represents the market-implied probability for the selected Polymarket outcome. A move from 40% to 50% is an increase of **10 percentage points**, rather than a 10% relative increase.

### Spike trigger

The **Spike** option reacts to a change in the selected outcome’s probability rather than waiting for it to reach a fixed level.

For example, a 10 percentage-point spike in the odds of **“Fed cuts 25 bps in September”** can be used to open a long position on ETH. Once the configured move is detected, the selected market order is submitted on Hyperliquid.

Spike triggers can be useful around events where prediction-market odds may reprice quickly as new information becomes available.

### Optional order settings

#### Max price

Enabling **Max price** limits the highest execution price you are willing to accept for a Buy / Long order. This can help prevent execution above your chosen price if the Hyperliquid market moves quickly between the Polymarket trigger being detected and the order being filled.

#### Take profit and stop loss

Enable **Take profit / Stop loss** to configure exit orders together with the position entry.

#### Reduce only

Enable **Reduce only** if the triggered order should only reduce an existing position. A reduce-only order cannot increase the position or open a new position in the opposite direction.

{% hint style="info" %}
*All of the standard Hyperliquid fees apply to trades being made through DeFi Saver. This includes open/close fess, and maker/taker fees on automated tools such as Stop Loss/Take Profit*\
\
*On top of these existing fees, DeFi Saver also has a flat, 0.025% fee for opening a position - with a 0.05% fee when an automation is used/triggered.*
