Moving from a long to a short position and vice-versa

DeFi Saver offers users the option to "flip" their position and move from a long position to a short one, and vice-versa.

This is done in one transaction and a couple of clicks:

The first step would be navigating to the Aave dashboard on DeFi Saver:

From there, click on the "Shift" tab, and under "Actions", choose "Position Flip":

This will open a pop-up window that'll pre-prepare your transaction by setting up a full switch of your collateral and debt asset.

On top of this, you'll also be able to choose your preferred Exchange route and slippage limit.

DeFi Saver offers DEX meta-aggregation, meaning we find the best swap routes across 6 DEX aggregators, so we generally recommend leaving the Exchange route as Automatic.

To execute the position flip, just click on the "Flip" button.
